The visit served two key purposes:
Verification of Project Existence:
- PIAC sought to confirm the actual existence of the Agenda 111 project.
- Ensuring transparency and accountability, PIAC assessed whether the project aligns with its intended goals.
Assessment of Progress:
- The contractor reported that the project is currently 85% complete.
- PIAC examined the state of work on-site, considering challenges faced during implementation
PIAC’s visit underscores responsible management of petroleum revenues, emphasizing transparency and effective project execution.
This remarkable feat through the work progress achieved by Starry Company Limited has positioned the company as a beacon for other contractors to emulate. The contractor (Starry Company Limited) has demonstrated the company’s commitment to high-quality infrastructure development, as a result other contractors are encouraged to learn from SCL’s approach.
